Mr. Huakun Ding earned a M.Sc. in Mathematical Finance from the University of British Columbia, a M.Sc. in Mathematics from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Nankai University. Mr. Ding has extensive experience in the areas of quantitative investment, quantitative strategy development and risk management. Mr. Ding has produced excellent performance in his investment career.
Ethan Yu, CFA
Equity Portfolio Manager
Mr. Ethan Yu earned an MBA from Boston University Questrom School of Business and a B.Sc. of Management from Fudan University. Now Ethan is a Portfolio Manager focusing on global macro research and equity portfolio management at Goldenwise. Prior to Goldenwise, he spent one year with Ping An Trust ,where he served as Investment Director and oversaw group assets allocations. He also spent four years in Dalton Investments LLC as Head of Research (Greater China) , covering Asia ex-Japan equity markets. Earlier in his career, Ethan spent three years working as an analyst with China International Capital Corporation (“CICC”).
Mr. Ron Wang earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Harvard University, a M.Sc. in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China (entered the university at the age of 14). Mr. Wang has about 15 years experience in quantitative trading, quantitative strategy development, derivative pricing and quantitative model research. Mr. Wang had worked at top investment banks on the Wall Street: Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and AIG, and he had also worked as an Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Mr. Adam Cai earned a Master of Science in Management (Msc) from Ivey Business School, Western University and the bachelor degree in Economics from Shanghai Maritime University. Mr. Cai has solid investment experience and capital market industry knowledge. Prior to joining Goldenwise Capital, Mr. Cai has worked in Bank of Montreal Capital market and other various investment management firms and hedge funds in Canada, China and India.
Mr. Tianli Zhang earned a Master of Quantitative Finance from University of Waterloo, a M.Sc. in Mathematics from University of Regina and a B.Eng in Software Engineering from Shandong University. Mr. Zhang has work experience in both primary market and secondary market, such as the investment Banking division for two top financial institutions (Guotai Junan Securities, Guangfa Securities), and in top quantitative hedge funds in China.
